Habanero

Habanero was created in hand-blended oil pastel with a hand-painted acrylic white background. Muted orange, candied red and saffron yellow are blended to make the body of the pepper. Soft taupe highlighted with firey yellow and white bring the seeds to life, while flecks of black nestle deep in the chili. The dry stem is accented with muddy green, bark and smoke gray.
